]]> After shows dedicated to Tiepolo, Longhi, Canaletto, Fontebasso and Carlevarijs, the extensive collection of the Museo Correr Print and Drawing Cabinet now provides material for an exhibition dealing with one of the most important of eighteenth-century Venetian vedutisti, Michele Marieschi (1710-1743), and his work in the medium of engraving.

Curated by Fillipo Pedrocco, the show is open to all visitors to the museum at no extra charge. It comprises Marieschi’s masterpiece in the medium of print: copperplate engravings of the major sights of Venice, which were printed for the first time in 1741.
