It contains all the great names of Italian Neoclassicism: Vincenzo Camuccini, Andrea Appiani, Giuseppe Bossi and the young Francesco Hayez, as well as French artists such as François-Marius Granet, Lancelot-Théodore Turpin de Crissé and Louis Léopold Robert.
